Job Details

Kantar is looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team in a permanent full time capacity. The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for taking a proactive approach to collecting amounts due from specific Kantar client accounts to meet defined collections targets. The role will also involve working with relevant collaborators to resolve collection issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect outstanding revenue to meet individual and team important metrics
- Ensure payments are received in line with agreed terms and develop relationships with Accounts Payable teams of key accounts
- Prepare correspondence and reports in relation to revenue collection
- Attend receivable meetings and report on status of collections and work to resolve any collection barriers
- Work with cashflow manager to input collections information into cashflow forecast tool
- Working with the collections team lead to define collections procedures/ approach and set collections targets
- Develop specific key account collection processes and strategies

Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant experience in Collections
- Some accounting experience
- Familiarity with account reconciliations and underlying transactions
- Self-directed with a strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Assertive and strong negotiation skills
- A proactive approach to collections to ensure cash is collected when due
- Intermediate arithmetic skills; comfortable working with numbers;
- Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
