**THE ROLE**

As the production planner, you will be working exclusively for our growing nursery function helping the team develop accurate production plans to fulfill tissue culture orders as well tracking real-time activity to ensure adherence to plans. Your work will involve using our internal IV System (Invitro soft) for all inventory management, planning and reporting activities. You’ll be expected to become an IVS super user and provide guidance, training and support to other users of the system. Additionally, the role evaluates compliance within IVS and other plant production systems as necessary.

Your work will mainly consist of:

- Overseeing the nursery tissue culture (TC) forecast planning activities
- Gathering and evaluating data to develop solutions aimed at increasing production efficiency
- Provide valuable insights to help management make strategic decisions impacting on the laboratory workflow and efficiencies
- Provide input for future planning in the development of budgets
- Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders in the development of production plans

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous exposure to planning roles within FMCG, Agriculture or similar would be advantageous
- Use of inventory management systems such as IVS or equivalent
- Basic data analytical skills and proficiency in excel
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Unrestricted working rights
