Job Context

LivaNova Australia and New Zealand represents an organization of around 70 employees. It includes a commercial team of field employees encompassing Sales, Marketing, Medical Science Liaison and Service Engineer profiles; employees in office support functions and an Operations team consisting of production, warehouse, engineering and design personnel.

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Production Planner role is to schedule and plan the manufacture of all LivaNova Australia perfusion tubing packs as per Sales and marketing forecasts and direct customer requirement of both tendered and non-tendered manufactured goods, in accordance with organisation policies and procedures and Australian Medical Device Regulations, ISO 9001 and/or other relevant statutory requirements.

Essential Job Functions
- Master Data maintenance and updates in ERP system such as: purchase price updates, leadtime, MOQ, MPQ,Min/Max, etc.
- Create a weekly production plan based on company’s inventory holding strategies and planning procedures
- Schedule, release, print and communicate requirements of production orders with clean room in a timely manner
- Production Scheduling and inventory control procedure updates
- Run and review Kitting replenishment report and make necessary changes to the plan and communicating with relevant parties
- Weekly sterilization load review to ensure maximum service level will be achieved
- Communicate the potential shortages of Mn goods with relevant stakeholders
- Planning for re-works and samples
- Update ACH & back order weekly reports and any other customer related reports
- Running Expired stock report and liaising with stakeholders to take required actions
- Control and update Discontinuation Register and Shortage spreadsheet to make sure material transitions are running smoothly and on-time
- Following up overdue purchase orders from suppliers/logistic providers
- Update delivery dates in Exact, control and update in transit stock report
- Preparing necessary reports and information to the operation team if required such as; slow moving products, overconsumptions, future OOS, etc
- Raising Purchasing orders for level B & C materials and Service items
- Giving leave support to other team members when its required
- Raw material incoming inspection
