**About the Role**

The Activity Centre Division works across State Government and with local government, industry and the community to implement the Government’s Activity Centre Program. The Project Support Officer role supports the development and delivery of Planning Controls within Activity Centres.

The role supports stakeholder and community engagement, prepares a range of project documents, monitors and reports on project status, contributing to risk and issue management, contribute to the processes for project procurement and contract management and establishes and maintains relationships with multiple stakeholders.

**Position Outcomes**

The role includes supporting the implementation and maintenance of systems to manage briefings, information, and documents, enhancing communication with stakeholders and streamlining approvals. They maintain organizational awareness, handling confidential and sensitive inquiries with discretion.

The EA assists executives in producing, reviewing, and filing papers and briefings, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to style requirements. This includes compiling information and preparing documentation to support decision-making processes.

They build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Office of the Deputy Secretary and local council staff, managing needs and fostering positive, productive interactions.

**Qualifications and role specific requirements**

**Mandatory**
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative and executive support to a senior executive - government experience preferred.
- Proven skills in business systems including maintenance of databases and use of MS Office 365 products.
- Proven ability to manage priorities, clarify problems and identify solutions.

**Desirable**
- Oracle & Zycus experience or financial equivalent.
