The Company

Our client is a national construction services organisation who specialise within the Martine and defence industry. With a number of high value projects across the country they are going from strength to strength. As a result, they currently have a great opportunity for a dynamic, forward-thinking senior safety advisor to join their team based on a key business site in Central Sydney.

The Role

Reporting into the HSEQ Superintendent, you will be the key contact for the site and will work across their projects to ensure the effective execution of Health and Safety for all.

As a key business partner you will be focused on continuous improvement along with developing and fostering a proactive safety culture. This is not a one size fits all approach, you will need to adapt your style and methodology.

About you

To be successful it is imperative you are an engaging safety professional who understands how to get the best out of people. You are innovative, driven, with a focus on continuous improvement and have the ability to improve a team's performance. You will have an energetic and positive attitude with a thirst for learning and a love for the infrastructure industry. Experience overseeing safety for work in confined spaces and at height, as well as an appreciation for “Zero Harm” culture is also desirable. You will also need to be an Australian citizen in order to work on defence projects.
