**About the role**:
The Admissions Manager is responsible for:
- Achieving the College/Campus admission and enrolment targets by managing and directing the admissions process for prospective international students, ensuring the delivery of an efficient service in relation to assessment, offer letter turnaround, issuance of Confirmation of Enrolments (CoEs) and other follow-up work with the Marketing and Admissions teams.
- Analysing recruitment related data to measure achievements against the College targets to inform strategic decision-making.
- Conducting market and competitor research to inform and implement program innovation to ensure the College’s competitiveness.
- Leading and motivating the Admissions Team to ensure high quality, professional, and timely services are delivered and the strategic directions of the College are met.
- Monitoring staff performance against agreed standards, ensuring staff training is available to meet on-going needs and continuously reviewing internal office systems and processes to ensure high standards of performance are maintained.
- Preparing reports, proposals and strategic policy advice on recruitment, admissions policy, admission trends and future directions
- Planning, developing and reviewing critical admission functions in consultation with the Marketing Team and College staff to ensure the provision of excellent customer service to students, agents and other clients of the College.
- Maintain credible and strong relationships with counterparts at WSU, Navitas Group Marketing, key education agents, and external stakeholders such as the Department of Home Affairs.
- Monitoring advice from the Department of Home Affairs and other regulatory entities regarding changes and amendments to student visa requirements and keeping relevant staff informed of these changes.
- Monitoring Admissions employees training needs to ensure ongoing operational effectiveness and to provide professional development opportunities.
**The person we seek will ideally have the following**:
**Essential**
i. Undergraduate degree qualifications and 5 years managerial experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
ii. Proven ability to effectively motivate and lead a team from a range of backgrounds.
iii. Experience in international student admissions including strong knowledge of Genuine Temporary Entrant Assessment, ESOS Act, DOHA regulations and PRISMS.
iv. Proven ability to build and maintain strong, credible relationship with key stakeholders.
v. Highly developed managerial skills demonstrated in a process-driven environment of large volume workflows and critical deadlines.
vi. Demonstrated critical and creative thinking and proven ability to evaluate service delivery.
vii. Outstanding interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity towards students and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds.
