Groundskeeper

Your work will be done along side a team of maintenance officers and together you will ensure that the sites are highly presentable and you build positive relationships with each other and the various employees on site.
- Permanent - Full Time position, 38 hours per week at Green Hills Residential Care

About the Role
- Build positive relationships and provide excellent customer service with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the team with positive communication and a collaborative approach
- Maintain gardens, lawns, grounds and carparks to ensure that the sites is highly presentable. This includes:

- seasonal fertilizing of lawns and gardens and weed management;
- periodic pruning, regular trimming trees and hedges & replanting of gardens where required;
- removal of rubbish and recycling bins;
- water features and waterways including storm water pits;
- maintenance of lawn and gardening machinery/equipment;
- operate various types of power equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers etc
- Provide assistance to maintenance staff as required (including relief maintenance staff for periods of leave)

What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience as a groundkeeper with strong knowledge for lawns and gardens maintenance
- Must have experience operating and maintaining role related equipment (e.g.ride on mowers, whipper snipper etc)
- Problem solving and decision-making skills with good attention to detail
- Adhere to and promote a safe and healthy workplace culture
- Exceptional customer service and/or stakeholder engagement skills
- Must have valid drivers license, a National Criminal History Check relevant for Aged Care (or willingness to obtain)
