**ROLE DETAILS**

**Location**: Hawthorn East, VIC

**Salary***:$34-37 per hour + Super + paid leave entitlements (Part-Time Employment)

**Days**:Mondays - Fridays

**Hours**: 1pm-7pm during school terms, 8:30am-6:30pm during school holidays

**Children**:3 year old and 7 year old

**Start**:ASAP.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Permanent Australian Residency
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Drivers Licence and own car
- 2+ years of experience working in similar roles.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
Busy professional parents are seeking a dedicated Nanny/Home Manager to become an integral part of their 'village'. They are seeking someone with experience working professionally with children who also has an understanding of how to keep a household running smoothly and/or a willingness to learn quickly to meet the family's needs.

Household tasks will be simple but consistent - family laundry, meal preparation, errands, and some organisation/tidying (and encouraging the children to be involved in that as well). The family has a cleaner.

Outside of school hours the focus will be on engaging with the children and facilitating indoor and outdoor activities to balance their free time outside of school/Kinder. The nanny will be required to drive the children in their own car (mileage will be reimbursed) - fun and outings are encouraged

**ABOUT THE FAMILY**
Both children (2 girls) are active and creative. They enjoy playing together and with caregivers, reading, and visits to parks and community locations. The family values respect, honesty, and great communication skills. They look forward to welcoming someone who can bridge that professional/personal line appropriately with their family.

The parents' priorities are on their children's happiness and needs being met, with a secondary preference for also maintaining a tidy and organised environment. They practice a gentle and positive approach to discipline so are eager to employ a nanny who will instinctively provide a nurturing environment with appropriate boundaries for the children.
