Steel Framing Assembler

Steel Frame Assembler for IMMEDIATE start.

Work with a small team in a factory environment, assembling prefabricated steel framing according to specifications and plans.
- Use power tools to secure framing components
- Perform quality checks to ensure correct assembly and dimensions.
- Safely move and handle materials and finished frames using trolleys and lifting equipment
- Maintain safety and cleanliness on the factory floor
- Work in a team to meet production goals

**Skills and Experience**

**What You’ll Need**:

- Experience in assembly / manufacturing environment OR willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to read basic drawings and follow instructions
- Competent in the use of basic hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Physical fitness, reliability and safety conscious
- Availability Monday to Friday 5.30am to 2.00pm

**Desirable**:

- Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Previous experience in assembling or installing light-gauge steel framing
- Forklift licence.
- Understanding of basic construction or structural principles.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $35.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week

Work Location: In person
