**About Us**

Prime Steel Fabrications ABN 74 105 878 939 is a leading Commercial Fabrication Company based on the Gold Coast who has been operating for over 25 years. Our company undertakes projects right across the Gold Coast and Brisbane region within the commercial steel fabrication industry.

We require a full-time experienced steel/metalwork draftsperson with a degree in industrial engineering.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Accurately use Solidworks, Solidworks elecrical, solidworks animation, AutoCAD, Sketchup, NX11, NX11 mesh production to design and complete fabrication drawings within designated time frames, including cut lists
- Ability to accurately site measure projects
- Submission of drawings, including revisions using project management software for clients
- Prior experience in managing and control of software such as Aconex, Procore and Hammertech
- Schedule shop details to fit in with fabrications and site installation schedules
- Ensure all drawings are accurately completed and issued to relevant departments and clients
- Manage procurement procedures to ensure accurate and economical for company
- Manage project variations and daily updates of drawings and client contract documentation
- A degree in industrial engineering
- The ability to introduce industrial engineering concepts to integrate within the design and engineering of environmental systems fabricated and designed by Primesteel
- 5 years experience + using Solidworks, Solidworks elecrical, solidworks animation, AutoCAD, Sketchup, NX11, NX11 mesh
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with drafting steel works in 2d and 3d
- Experience in reading and interpreting commercial architectural drawings
- High attention to detail
- A strong understanding and experience in the commercial construction industry
- Understanding of construction and integration of trades during the project
- Exposure to and competent use of Qld Building Standards and regulations
- The ability to communicate professionally, prioritise and meet deadlines

**What you will get**:

- $80,000 per annum plus Super Guarantee
- Full-time permanent employment
