**Ovolo Woolloomooloo** is the brand's flagship Australian hotel, located in Sydney's idyllic harbourside suburb of... (dramatic drum roll) Woolloomooloo. Nestled in the heart of the popular wharf precinct, a short walk to the city's central business district, the hotel is surrounded by a wide selection of much-loved dining and nightlife options. Ovolo Woolloomooloo features 100 guest rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, meeting rooms and events spaces, a swimming pool, and Alibi Bar & Kitchen (100% plant-based).
**The Gig**
We are on the lookout for our next **Reservations Agent** to come join our team here at Ovolo. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all guests, whether it be over the phone or online, prior to arriving at the hotel. This role would suit someone who loves the customer service aspect of hospitality and is always willing to help out to ensure maximum satisfaction. This is a **Full-Time** role and will require some weekend work. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Assist with guest bookings & inquiries via telephone
- Respond to all online booking enquiries
- Ensure maximizing of sales and revenue through upselling of hotel facilities
- Create and maintain reservation records
- Liase with all departments in hotel to ensure customer requests & special occasions are attended to
- Assist with other departments during peak periods
- Have a local understanding of the area and provide constructive information to guests to ensure their stay is amazing
