This is a 12 months Max Term role.

**How will I help?**

As Credit Manager
- Mortgage Risk, Credit Quality & Review, your responsibilities are:

- Issuance and management of mortgage CAL and OVA authorities, working with Senior Credit Manager is the ongoing management of individual authority holders quality benchmarks.
- Prepare reports and insights to support monthly stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct 2nd line file hindsight reviews, assessing whether decisions are within the approver’s authority, soundly based, include appropriate research / analysis / mitigation of risks and reflect the organisation’s current policy standards and risk appetite for the segment.
- Provide feedback, coaching and guidance to stakeholders on hindsight outcomes, emerging issues and “best practice” risk management techniques to help improve the capabilities of authority holders.
- Provide high quality advice and recommendations in a timely manner, ensuring that issues and opportunities are communicated in a constructive manner and discuss ideas, suggestions, or alternatives to identify solutions.

**What do I need?**

You will need:

- Typically, 2+ years in Mortgage Verification or Credit Decisioning roles and/or relevant lending experience in Consumer Bank
- Analytical and problem-solving skills essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
- Multi brand exposure and systems knowledge preferred but not essential.
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred.
