- Hybrid Working Arrangements
- Premium Womenswear
Are you a visionary designer with a passion for elevated, modern womenswear? We’re partnering with a leading Australian fashion house renowned for its premium quality, contemporary aesthetic, and considered craftsmanship. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in defining and driving the creative direction of the brand.
As the Senior Designer, you will lead and inspire the design team, collaborating closely with the Creative Director to bring the brand vision to life. You’ll take ownership of seasonal collections — from concept and development through to final range sign-off — ensuring every piece reflects the brand’s DNA and resonates with its loyal, style-conscious customer.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Drive the creative direction across seasonal collections
- Research global trends, fabrics, and silhouettes, translating insights into premium designs
- Create cohesive, innovative and commercial ranges that balance creativity with brand identity
- Collaborate with technical, production, and buying teams to ensure design integrity and quality
- Oversee fittings, fabric sourcing, and sample development
- Mentor and inspire junior designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Present collections to internal stakeholders with confidence and vision
**About You**:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in womenswear design, ideally within a premium or contemporary brand
- Strong understanding of trend forecasting, fabrications, and garment construction
- A creative eye and strong brand sensibility — with the ability to push boundaries while staying true to the brand
- Exceptional sketching, CAD and presentation skills
- A collaborative, confident communicator with leadership capabilities
- A genuine passion for Australian fashion and premium womenswear
**Why You’ll Love This Role**:
- Work with one of Australia’s most respected womenswear brands
- Play a leading role in shaping collections and influencing creative direction
- Join a collaborative, inspiring and fashion-forward team
- Competitive salary and career progression opportunities
If you’re ready to take the next step in your design career and make a meaningful impact on a premium Australian fashion brand, we’d love to hear from you.
