General Hands

Labourpower Trade are seeking **General Hands/ Pickers** for casual ongoing work based in St Mary's.

This position is for afternoon shift 2pm till 10pm.

This position is working within the metal recycling industry, our client specialises in the buying and selling of scrap metals.

**The responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Keeping the site clean
- Material sorting
- Conveyor picking
- General Labouring

**To be successful for this position**:

- Previous sorting experience is REQUIRED
- willingness to learn
- Be reliable and excellent attendance for work
- Ability to learn new processes on site
- MUST be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test

This position has the opportunity to transition into permanency after the probationary period.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Picker/General hand: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
