The role Reporting to the Director, HP Research, you will provide support in the creation of strategic initiatives that tackle important health concerns, workforce groups, and reforms in the healthcare system. Responsibilities encompass gathering information and data, contributing to environmental scanning and analysis, and identifying upcoming strategic challenges, opportunities, and concerns pertaining to the allied health workforce.
Additionally, you will have to implement and oversee administrative systems and processes to ensure the Branch's activities are conducted smoothly and with efficiency. Active collaboration with Hospital and Health Services, other Department areas, and agencies is vital for contributing to projects and participating in stakeholder consultation endeavours.
The successful personTo excel in this position, you should have a proven track record of developing, implementing, and evaluating inventive and resourceful solutions to accomplish organizational goals, including successful delivery of project or program outcomes. You should also possess the ability to collect, analyse and present data from various sources, enabling you to discern, formulate, and implement program and project management systems and processes.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role, as you will be required to engage in consultation with internal and external stakeholders, prepare correspondence, and coordinate meetings. Additionally, you should have established expertise in providing advice to senior management, working collaboratively within a team environment, and effectively managing competing priorities to meet recognized deadlines and commitments.
