Job Description - Shop Supervisor**Position Title**: Supervisor
**Reports To**: Manager/Business Owner
- Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Monitor food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure quality and consistency.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health & safety standards.

**Staff Supervision**
- Lead, motivate, and support team members during shifts.
- Delegate tasks and monitor staff performance.
- Train new employees on shop policies, customer service, and food handling.
- Assist in preparing staff rosters and managing shift coverage.

**Customer Service**
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure customers receive friendly, efficient, and accurate service.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and customer-friendly environment.

**Inventory & Supplies**
- Monitor stock levels of food, packaging, and cleaning supplies.
- Assist with ordering and receiving deliveries.
- Minimise waste and manage portion control effectively.

**Reporting & Communication**
- Report daily sales, incidents, and staff performance to management.
- Communicate clearly with staff regarding tasks and responsibilities.
- Ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed.

**Skills & Requirements**
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or food service supervision.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer/cash register skills.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
