**Automatic Door Technician / Automatic Gate Technician / Roller Door Technician**

Marshall Beattie Automation are a leading provider in commercial and industrial automation solutions throughout Western Australia, specialising in the design, installation and servicing of Automatic Gates, Automatic Doors, Roller Shutters and Access Control Systems.

We are currently seeking a confident and self-motivated person to become part of our **technician** **team **based in Belmont, mainly servicing the Perth Metropolitan area.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Installation of automated gates, doors, bollards, barriers and access control systems
- Attend to on site call outs for breakdown repairs and scheduled repairs
- Preventative maintenance servicing of automation products
- Diagnostic and fault finding of gate and door automation equipment
- Complete written reports on works carried out
- Some paid overtime is expected which may include weekends
- After Hours / On Call technician shared on a rostered cycle once trained

**Essential Criteria**:

- Current WA C Class drivers’ licence - Manual vehicles
- Knowledge of safe working practices and compliances
- Able to comply with company and site inductions/checks (Drug, alcohol, flu/covid vaccines)
- National Police Clearance Check and White Card will be required but can be attained upon successful selection
- Current WA Electrical Licence is highly desirable
- Knowledge of current Australian electrical standards and codes
- Only those living in Perth will be considered for the role and you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered.

- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Able to liaise with all levels of clients
- Strong commitment to safety
- Sound fault finding skills
- Good welding and mechanical skills are highly desirable

Previous experience with automatic gates and doors is preferred. Knowledge of automation products and access systems is an advantage, but full and ongoing training is provided.

Salary offered will be in line with experience and skills, however applicants will have the opportunity to grow within the position.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
