**About the Role**
This position is responsible for enabling the business unit to drive a proactive risk based approach to delivering improved safety outcomes.

In doing so, you will:

- Provide advice, coaching and support in the implementation of Health and Safety strategy, policy, directives, and practices.
- Support the development and implementation of site-based health and safety and management plans.
- Lead and support the business units health and safety risk. assessments, risk management processes and risk reduction plans.
- Conduct contractor HSE pre-qualification assessments.

**About You**
You are a driven and dynamic health and safety specialist with a strong work ethic and an ability to partner and influence change. To succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

- 3+ years experience working in high risk operational environments/ or 5+ years working in a technical gas or electrical role.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements.
- Experience in hazard identification and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience in contractor management and incident investigations.
