**You’ll enjoy variety in your role including**:
Reporting directly to our Group Manager Procurement, this new team member will assume responsibility for the development of supplier strategies associated with an annual CAPEX of up to $200m. More specifically, the successful person will assume accountability for:

- Developing Category Strategies, sourcing aligned commercial relationships and creating commercial and performance terms and conditions to achieve optimal value
- Conducting market assessments (domestically and globally) that identifies current & emerging capabilities which best position Coates to achieve its future objectives
- Manage the supplier lifecycle, from contract management, supplier relationship management to contract end
- Development and maintenance of a robust risk and governance framework, including procurement risk assessments, due diligence activities and supplier KPI performance
- Identify all category spend drivers, provide analyses of spend behaviours and produce reporting on category performance
- Mentoring a small team to achieve team KPIs

- Development and execution of Category Strategies
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills and an ability to work across borders
- The ability to independently manage multiple projects, track activities & meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Strong project and change management skills
- Facilitation of Procurement tenders
- Adaptable to ever changing environment

Your above business experience is complemented by tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance or Procurement.
