KONE Australia and New Zealand (KEA) are looking for a Procurement _Category Manager In-Direct Materials _to join our growing Strategic Sourcing team in Mascot, Sydney.

KONE Australia and New Zealand (KEA) are looking for a, _Procurement/ Sourcing Category Manager - Indirect _to join our growing Strategic Sourcing team in Mascot, Sydney. In this role you will report to the Head of Sourcing Australia and New Zealand and responsible for developing category sourcing strategies and category plans in line with business needs and driving their implementation across the region. The role manages end to end Sourcing Projects working closely with stakeholders, managing key supplier relationships and driving strategies to deliver key commercial outcomes for KONE.

Indirect categories managed across the KEA region include but are not limited to: Facilities Management / Property, Corporate Travel, Car Fleet and Equipment, Information Computer Technology (ICT), Telecoms (inc. fixed data, mobiles and devices) and Professional Services.
- What will you be doing?_
- Research best practices, benchmarks, and market/supplier/solution developments in the Indirect category and KEA Area
- Leads cross-functional teams in developing & implementing Area sourcing strategy for the Indirect category
- Run end to end sourcing projects / RFx’s for specific projects
- Negotiate and manages supplier contracts for key KEA Area-based suppliers within the categories of spend managed
- Lead contract implementations and resolves in contract related issues
- Contract managers key supplier contracts including driving performance improvements
- Drive the development and improvement of category specific policies and procedures
- Act as global category lead across the KEA Area to ensure global alignment of sourcing strategies
- Report monthly portfolio savings, program updates, adhoc reports as required

- Ability to build and develop strong working relationships both internally and with external partners
- Demonstrated experience in delivering savings and P&L targets
- Experienced in successfully negotiating and managing high value contracts
- Experienced in procuring services
- Ability to build collaborative cross functional and key stakeholder relationships
- Market Research, RFx, compliance and contract management experience
- Working knowledge of best practice related to the construction sector
- Advanced excel skills and ability to create business insight reports from raw data
- Ability to create polished power point presentations and slide packs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Preferably Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply ‘MCIPS’ qualified
