**Welcome to NEWTOWN**

We are seeking part time team members who are available to work 18 - 32 hours per week to join our Front Desk team.

Duties include welcoming our guests, completing check in & check out, reservations, process guest accounts & offering entertainment or dining suggestions throughout Newtown.

We require team members who are friendly, vibrant & who know the in's & out's of Newtown. A team member who understands why Newtown is referred to as 'Eat Street' & is familiar with local wine bars, restaurants, galleries, eclectic shops & entertainment venues.

You must be available to work afternoon shifts. Your start time will commence between 1pm and 4pm therefore afternoon availability is expected. Morning shifts - not on offer.

Our shifts for part time team members generally are 6 - 8 hours per shift.

You will be asked to complete 1 - 2 On Call shifts per month. During these shifts you will stay overnight in a hotel room and answer the phone or guest enquires. The On Call is not a regular requirement however it is important all front desk team members experience this shift once or twice per month.

Our part time positions are well suited to local Newtown residents or university students.

Our rates of pay per hour

Monday to Friday - $25.13

Saturday - $28.05

Sunday - $33.10

P/Hol - $50.40

Annual leave, sick leave & superannuation are paid above these rates.

The Urban Newtown is an 81 room industrial studio hotel located in the heart of Sydney's Inner West suburb of Newtown.

Be right in the thick of the action & enjoy the buzz of trendy Newtown & nearby King Street’s energising life. We are also a hop, skip & jump from The Enmore Theatre.
