**About us**
We are the challenger in the cybersecurity market both in Australia and Southeast Asia.
We are founder-led and have a fresh and direct approach to working with our clients. Over our journey we have helped many organisations of different sizes in improving their understanding of cyber security through uplifting their existing capability.
We do this by reducing risk, building business resilience, and promoting continuous innovation.
The role is suited for professionals with experience in manual penetration testing and a passion for all things security. We are seeking individuals that have experience in managing projects, ideally in a consulting capacity. In addition to offering great career growth opportunities, the position offers benefits such as training and certification opportunities, flexibility of hours, a good working culture and the opportunity to become a well-rounded consultant whilst working with a team of like-minded, friendly people.
**Your responsibilities as a Senior Consultant include**:
- Manage and resolve delivery escalation whilst ensuring the best customer experience possible.
- Act as the engagement quality gate for several concurrent engagements (ensure the quality, suitability and timeliness of engagements).
- Deliver individual engagements yourself to maintain your skills set and consciously acquire new competences though formal training and self-development.
- Pass certifications as required to maintain your status as an expert in your field (in addition to blog posts, training, CTFs and presentations).
- Attend industry events regularly to learn, earmark potential recruits, network and generate interest.
- Write and QA reports and material as required or assigned to you.
- Provide weekly reports to your manager on delivery activities.
- Provide mentorship and support to cross-skill peers and more junior consultants.
- Identify and drive internal improvements.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience overall in relevant ICT and/or security domains.
- Experience with common development languages.
- Experience with common vulnerability detection tools.
- Experience in writing professional reports to communicate complex problems and present recommendations for change.
- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable dressing to make a professional impression whenever they represent Sekuro.
- Previous experience managing short engagements and longer projects.
- Able to confidently engage with both technical business and technology stakeholders.
- Holds one or more contemporary penetration testing certifications.
