Storeperson

Requirement:
Skout Solutions and Ventia are seeking Storepersons to work at Victoria Barracks Defence Base in Southbank. The role is for a 2-month temporary basis with potential extension. The hours will be Monday to Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm You will receive an hourly rate of $36.08 per hour, plus Super.

**Duties**:

- Operate basic machinery/equipment, e.g. pedestrian operated forklifts, automatic strapping machines, gluing machines
- Perform routine packing duties, e.g., assemble, pack and strap cartons, affix labels
- Undertake labouring tasks associated with the receipt, transfer and stacking of stores
- Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition

Skills and Experience:

- Current Forklift Licence essential (LF) along with Forklift experience desirable.
- Demonstrated experience as a Store-person
- Experience in RF Scanning - Desirable
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour and lifting heavy boxes on occasion

Covid Cert with 3 jabs required as a prerequisite
