Storeperson

**Requirement**:
Skout Solutions and Ventia are seeking **1 x Store-person** to work on our **Defence Base Services** contract located in **Port Melbourne, Vic** (Defence Science and Technology). The role is for a **2-month temporary basis** with potential extension**.** Your hours will be **Monday to Friday from either (7:30am - 4:00pm) or (8.30am - 5.00pm.)** You will receive an hourly rate of **$36.08 per hour, plus Super.**

**Duties**:

- Operate basic machinery/equipment, e.g. pedestrian operated forklifts, automatic strapping machines, gluing machines
- Perform routine packing duties, e.g., assemble, pack and strap cartons, affix labels
- Undertake labouring tasks associated with the receipt, transfer and stacking of stores
- Local distribution including loading and unloading of vehicles
- Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Current Forklift Licence essential (LF) along with Forklift experience desirable.
- Demonstrated experience as a Store-person
- Experience in RF Scanning - Desirable
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour and lifting heavy boxes on occasion
