**About the role**:
**This is a full time opportunity working**Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 1500-2306**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist patients with meal ordering, deliver meals and beverages, and help with patient movements and transfers under clinical staff direction.
- Manage service requests via handheld devices, ensure effective communication with the Help Desk, and coordinate with various hospital services for an integrated approach.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in clinical areas, manage linen, and support with spot cleaning and general upkeep of the environment.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of patient equipment, report faults, and follow infection control guidelines.
- Adhere to health and safety policies, participate in Zero Harm initiatives, and ensure patient confidentiality and service quality.

**About you**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and clinical staff clearly and empathetically.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment or similar role is preferred, with a basic understanding of patient care procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to manage tasks flexibly, prioritise responsibilities, and handle multiple duties efficiently within a dynamic clinical setting.
- Competency in following hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the proper handling of equipment and patient care materials.
- Willingness to adapt to changing work requirements, a positive attitude towards teamwork, and proactive participation in improving service delivery and safety standards.
