Keeping our hotel running smoothly is vital to our guest's experience - working alongside our Maintenance Manager, you'll keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork. From simple repairs to forward-thinking for the next day. With naturally high standards to support our own, you’ll approach every task with dedication and pride.

You'll be the go-to person when it comes to performing routine & preventative maintenance for the Hotel's equipment and facilities.

**A little taste of your day-to-day**:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

- Conducting routine and preventative maintenance for the hotel equipment and facilities, including a gym, pool and pool pump
- Handling maintenance requests with efficiency and professionalism
- Taking responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside of the hotel
- Documenting and maintaining maintenance records and hazard identification
- Build strong working relationships with the wider hotel team to ensure every guest leaves with great memories
- Partner with management

**What we need from you**:
At Hotel Indigo we look for people who are energetic, approachable and cultured with a sense of fun; always curious to discover more and share thoughtful suggestions with our guests.

You'll also have:

- Demonstrated experience in general maintenance, engineering and/or construction
- Great communication - you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
- A keen eye for detail and passion for achieving results, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
- Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc
- Flexibility - our worksite is a 24/7 operating business; weekends, mornings, nights and public holidays are all part of the job
- Must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
