Casual roles leading the coordination and facilitation of training across Queensland.

Hays are seeking skilled facilitators to deliver training sessions for the Temporary Election Workforce (TEW) who will be employed as polling officials during the anticipated Referendum.

As a skilled facilitator, you will be able to quickly comprehend and deliver a standard, national training package with confidence and observe comprehension and competence of the participants.

The TOPS External Facilitator is not expected to be an expert on event delivery; you will be supported by a Subject-Matter Expert (SME) who will respond to technical questions and support the delivery of the TOPS training sessions.

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Extensive experience in facilitation and high-level facilitation skills.
- Ability to work with broad objectives and topic areas whilst still making the learning specific and relevant to the participants.
- Ability to include SMEs (Subject-Matter Experts) in the learning and draw out their expertise to maximise the learning for participants.
- Ability to learn on the go and link the learning for all participants to the objectives of the session.
- Availability at very short notice and the ability to work non-standard or extended hours including weekends under pressure in a highly agile and fast pace operational environment, taking ownership and responsibility for your own work.
- Proven ability to communicate and willingness to engage with diverse individuals and communities, and to be flexible and adaptable.
- Demonstrated personal integrity whilst achieving results within legislative, policy and budget parameters.
- Ability to represent a government agency professionally and work effectively as part of a team to support the efficient delivery of a federal election or referendum.

**Eligibility**

Due to the nature of this role, to be eligible for this position applicants must:

- Be an Australian Citizen
- 18 years or over.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a Police Check
- Be able to sign a Political and Issue Neutrality Statement
- Be available to work with flexible hours including weekends and after business hours.
- Access to a registered and comprehensively insured personal motor vehicle.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations.
- Full and current driver’s licence.
