**About the Role...**

Reporting to the Manager Business Systems and working in a hybrid environment with the head office based in Lonsdale SA, the person will be responsible for analysis work and SQL integration processes between business systems and help support the IT service function within the business. You will identify opportunities, make recommendations, and implement solutions to improve business process with regards to data capture, data analysis as well as maintain and develop integration infrastructure between business systems.

You will be required to perform data analytical tasks to support project work or daily business needs with a focus on SQL, MS SSIS skills, developing DTS packages and programming for ERP system integration with website or other software/database systems. Teamwork will come naturally to you as you will be part of the IT team with a focus on data analysis and data tasks on IT projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with other IT team members, vendors, and resources to meet day to day IT requirements
- Ensure that data analysis needs are recorded, solutions developed and managed through to implementation
- Ability/experience testing and optimising SQL queries
- Integration Development/Support
- Database Administration
- SQL Server administration, production operational support and troubleshooting
- Assisting with project deplorables preparation and data analysis as required for each project

**About the person**

To be successful in this role, you will have recognised qualifications in the field of SQL server database administration and data analytics, business intelligence or information technology. In some cases, knowledge, work experience and recognised skills will be considered as qualifications in lieu of tertiary education. You will also have:

- Demonstrated ability and minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS), Data Analysis (including data and process modelling) Data Integration and Master Data Management.
- Demonstrated ability working with ETL processes, data warehousing and BI cubes
- Demonstrated ability to develop/contribute to business case evaluation and conduct cost/benefit analysis
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills and documenting software integration/implementation setup
- Solid analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven track record working in a dynamic IT team environment

The following will be advantageous
- IBM Cognos or Power BI dashboard/report writing experience to assist with data analysis
- Familiarity with Pronto ERP system and its support for data analysis
