What’s the opportunity?

A Motoring Advice Officer provides exceptional customer service to our members by drawing from their automotive background to assist and advise on their current and future motoring needs.

Key responsibilities for the Motoring Advice Officer involve receiving and processing calls relating to:

- Motoring advice including Australian design rules
- Triage and free fault diagnosis bookings at Auto Service centres;
- Provision of support to Roadside Assistance by processing calls relating to Roadside Assistance, battery services and RAC products.

What are we looking for?
- Qualifications and experience within the light vehicle automotive industry (required)
- Proven experience in achieving KPI’s and objectives individually and as part of a team
- Previous exposure and use of relevant packages including MS Word, Excel and automotive related systems
- Previous customer service experience -call centre experience is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with mínimal supervision
- The ability to work under pressure while staying calm and motivated
- An ability to adapt to and facilitate change in a workplace.

This important customer focused role requires:

- Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Good listening skills along with a pleasant personality with a genuine desire to help people
- The ability to problem solve and make decisions.

This is a permanent opportunity with flexible full time or part time hours working, Monday to Friday.
