**The Role**

The successful applicant must have a strong desire to provide high quality care as well as attention to detail. This role is a senior management role within the centre where mentoring and coaching your team occurs every day. You will support the Centre Director in the running of the centre as well as your Lead Educators in planning and practice. Suitable applicants must be able to meet the following criteria:

- Hold a minimum of Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience as a room leader/educational leader
- Use your amazing coaching techniques to help develop reflective practices
- Identify areas of improvement and support educators in their planning
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care
- Current Blue Card

**The Centre**

**Chermside Early Education Centre **is located on Kuran St, Chermside. Our centre has been rated as an Exceeding Centre by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and cares for up to 75 children each day. We offer a huge range of high quality programs for our children such as swimming lessons, music and movement and language opportunities. We are passionate about sustainability and gardening and love to explore these practices with the children in our care.

Our centres offer a range of services to our families such as beach, bush and farm kindy, swimming and Healthy Bodies Programs.
