Overview:
The Performance Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving customer acquisition and conversion through paid digital channels in line with our global e-commerce and performance marketing strategy.
The role requires an organised and data-driven marketer with a deep understanding of digital trends and online consumer behaviour. To be successful, you will need an analytical mindset and a proven track record of delivering brand and revenue objectives through paid digital channels.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute the performance marketing strategy (SEM, Paid Social, Display & Affiliate) in line with e-commerce guidelines
- Act as the key liaison with the local agency partner, ensuring campaigns and media directives are communicated and implemented accurately and on time
- Perform daily monitoring of campaign performance to ensure traffic and ROAS objectives are achieved
- Perform detailed analysis of website traffic and visitor behaviour to identify trends and opportunities
- To ensure ad visibility and adherence to guidelines you will need to conduct regular audits of paid search results
- Work closely with the CEO to define the performance marketing investment strategy during annual budget process
- Design and execute a performance marketing strategy in conjunction with the broader marketing team encompassing channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, Retargeting and Affiliates marketing to meet performance marketing KPIs.
- Planning, developing, implementing, and optimising paid search tactics based on top line digital marketing strategies to continuously improve performance, innovate and drive results.
- Hands-on utilisation of Google Ads, Google Analytics and other relevant platforms across relevant social and digital channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat to drive performance across our global ecommerce sites.
- Provide ongoing optimization for campaign structuring, audience segmentation, landing pages and improvement opportunities across all performance marketing channels
- Develop optimisation plans to continuously improve the performance of marketing channels against key KPI's such as revenue growth, profitability, store foot traffic and market share.
- Relentlessly test new and different ways to improve campaign performance against objectives
- Utilising 1st and 3rd party data to target and convert high-value customers and identify areas of opportunity
**Requirements**:
- Degree or equivalent qualification (Digital Marketing, eCommerce or Accounting/finance preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding mobile/app advertising and analytics tools to drive actionable insights
- An eye for design and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Be able to construct a strong narrative, a natural born storyteller.
- Excellent short form copywriting skills.
- Self motivation, adept at taking & receiving candid professional feedback & a desire to work collaboratively.
- Relevant in-platform trading experience across major real-time buying platforms including Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager
- Experience working with TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat Ad platforms, Rakuten and RTB House is highly advantageous
- Experience working with and managing agency partners in paid search, paid social, remarketing and affiliate marketing
- Experience working in retail and fashion highly advantageous
- A proven track record of successful campaign implementation & creative iteration within a marketing team.
