**Highlighting the importance of this role**

An opportunity exists for an Environmental Services Worker to join our team at Moonah Park Aged Care Service on a Part-time basis, working up to 50 hours per Fortnight. You will be a hands-on individual who will join our supportive, caring and experienced team, responsible for Kitchen, dining room and servery duties within our facility.

In this role you will:

- Assist in the preparation of meals;
- Serve main meals and morning/afternoon tea, including the set up and cleaning of trolleys and trays;
- Communicate with residents and meet their dinning expectations;
- Understand and follow resident dietary requirements;
- Maintain food hygiene and safety practices according to legislation, including the recording of food temperatures;
- Clean the kitchen, equipment and dining areas, including the washing of dishes.

Dependant on service needs, you may also be required to work cleaning or laundry shifts, these duties could include:

- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities' residential areas;
- Handle laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and resident clothing.

**What you can bring to the team**

You are an enthusiastic reliable worker who enjoys being a team player and can also work autonomously. You will be passionate about cleaning and committed to providing excellent customer service to our residents. Working in a fast-pace environment you will have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs.

Ideally you will have:

- Certificate II in Cleaning Operations - desirable but not essential;
- Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning is desirable;
- Experience working within the Aged Care industry will be highly regarded;
- Current National Police Certificate.
