**About the Role**
This is a casual Disability Support Worker role based in Mitchelton. We have short shifts only on offer, ranging from 2 to 3 hours, covering morning, afternoon, and evening.

This position will primarily involve providing in-home support and may also include assisting with community access during your shift. You will be assisting customers with a variety of disabilities, prioritising tasks efficiently, and cultivating a supportive atmosphere that encourages independence and development. **Other responsibilities may include**:

- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and managing laundry.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Maintaining accurate records of services provided, progress notes, and any incidents or changes in the individual's condition.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience in disability support or related field (preferred)
- Trained in manual handling (advantage)
- Experience supporting individuals with mobility needs through the use of hoists (advantage)
- Flexible availability to work AM or PM shifts

**Requirements**:
The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain;
- Valid drivers licence (P2 or open)
- CPR and First Aid certificate
- NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
- Working with Children Check (blue card)
- NDIS orientation module certificate
