**About the position**

We are seeking Diploma Room Leaders for a beautiful exceeding 90 place centre in Alexandria which caters for children from the ages of 0 - 6 years old.

The role would suit a warm, kind and energetic educators and teachers who enjoys working collaboratively with nursery, toddler and preschool aged children as they unfold and thrive as curious learners. You will have knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and experience documenting children's learning.

As a room leader you will be skilled in building strong relationships with families and be confident in sharing information on a daily basis. You will understand the importance of collaborative relationships with children, work respectfully as a team member, have well rounded communication skills and be committed to going above and beyond with curiosity and an openness to learning.

**Skills / qualifications / experience**
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Experience in leading a room
- Approved first aid qualification; anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management certificates
- Current WWCC
- Child Protection Qualification
- A flexible, mature and friendly team player who is a confident communicator verbal and written.
- Understanding of child protection responsibilities as a mandatory reporter and child safe principles
- Commitment to a safe work environment
- Working and contributing to a team
- Skill and confidence in documenting children learning
- Knowledge of key educator and respectful care practices (desirable)
- COVID-19 vaccinated

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
