Only About Children Northcote is a warm and inviting childcare centre for children to learn, grow and be inspired every day. The outdoor play areas are built around a beautiful gum tree and provide plenty of space for children to explore, create and lead their own play. Our children especially enjoy the bike track, the undercover sandpit and helping in the worm farm. Inside are six age-based spaces, each specifically created to encourage children to learn and grow, with a focus on safety and natural elements. We love to connect with our local community through excursions and activities that feed into the children's interests and learning, including regular visits to the local park. Toddler room leader role - Certificate III or Diploma welcome to applyAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate educator to lead our Toddler classroom.
You will work as part of a team with the opportunity to collaborate with experienced Early Childhood professionals. As room leader, you will mentor and guide your colleagues as well as collaborating with the leadership team and OAC network.
- You will support in preparing and delivering age appropriate activities for children with safety and child protection in mind.
- You will supervise and interact with the children as well as leading group times and facilitating opportunities for children to learn through play.
- You will document children's learning using Storypark and share your programming cycle with your team.
