Receptionist / Salon Coordinator - The Barberhood

The Barberhood is a premium and award winning gentlemen's salon and retail store in the heart of the Sydney CBD.

We are looking for a full-time, client focused receptionist to run the front of house for our busy Sydney CBD location.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent client services and ensuring a smooth and seamless operation of the client reception area whilst also maintaining the professional image of The Barberhood

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Meet and greet all staff and clients
- Responsible for all client appointments and requests including managing appointments for the stylists and barbers.
- Ensure the reception area is prepared and presented to the highest standard
- Complete stock orders and frequently check for product inventory
- Maintaining required store atmosphere and cleanliness
- Educate clients about the existing services that are available at The Barberhood
- Provide recommendations for products to clients at the salon
- Ad hoc administration requests from management
- Proficient at Social Media and Microsoft Office Suite.

**What are we looking for?**
- 5 days per week (Mon - Fri) - no weekends
- Sound knowledge of reception and front-desk operations.
- Experience working in a salon or as a hairdresser, barber or beauty therapist is a bonus
- Impeccable grooming and an impressive telephone manner
- Excellent prioritisation skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask between different tasks at hand
- Relevant customer service experience
- Must be organised, friendly and positive
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to different electronic management systems
- Ability to handle calls with speed and efficiency while maintaining excellent customer service
