**About the role**:
Depending on your experience, your role will involve a mix of tax advisory and compliance services, working closely with clients to provide strategic solutions and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Key responsibilities include:
As a** Tax Consultant,**you will:

- Support senior team members in delivering tax compliance and advisory services.
- Assist with preparing individual and business tax returns, BAS, and IAS.
- Conduct research on tax laws and assist in drafting technical tax papers.
- Maintain organised client records and liaise with the ATO as needed.
- Actively develop your knowledge by pursuing CA/CPA/CTA or equivalent qualifications.

As a **Senior Tax Consultant,** you will:

- Provide tax-related advice, planning, and compliance services to a range of clients.
- Conduct in-depth tax research and prepare letters of advice and position papers.
- Review and mentor junior staff members, ensuring high-quality work.
- Assist in tax planning for sophisticated business structures.
- Play a key role in maintaining and strengthening client relationships.

**About you**:
For **Tax Consultant**:

- A degree in Commerce, Business (Accounting), Law, or a related field.
- 1-4+ years of experience in tax/accounting in a professional services environment.
- A passion for tax advisory and compliance, with a keen interest to stay up to date with evolving regulations and industry trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of building positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- A desire for continuous learning and development (CA/CPA/CTA program in progress or planned).

For **Senior Tax Consultant**:

- A degree in Commerce, Business (Accounting), Law, or a related field.
- CA, CPA or CTA qualification completed (or nearing completion)
- 4+ years of experience in tax, ideally in a professional services firm.
- Strong technical tax knowledge across multiple areas, including income tax, CGT, FBT, GST, and Division 7A.
- Experienced in fostering high-value client and colleague relationships, driving trust and long-term collaboration
- Exposure to Transfer Pricing would be advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their technical skills and professional growth
