Come and join us in the position of Behaviour Support Practitioner on a full time or part time basis. Working closely with our Senior Practitioners, you will have the opportunity to build on your knowledge and skills and make a real difference to the lives of people living with disability. We have flexible working arrangements, including work from home and we will consider all levels of experience.**

**Myxa Care** is a NDIS registered service provider assisting people with disability, their family, and carers. We deliver individually tailored services to maximise participant choice and control. We aim to support our participants to empower them to achieve their goals and live a full life

**About the Role**

As the Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will deliver high level, evidence based clinical advice and assistance to participants living with a disability and their families. Through the creation, implementation and education of positive behaviour support plans, your person-centred approach will focus on reducing the impact of challenging behaviours to enhance the quality of life for our participants.

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Bachelor degree in behavioural science, psychological science, social science, social work or a related field
- Relevant experience and well-developed understanding of the role
- Currently registered OR must meet NDIS registration requirements
- Experience in working collaboratively and developing effective internal and external relationships
- Understanding of and a commitment to the principles and objectives of the National Disability Insurance Scheme
- Excellent communication both verbal and written, including report writing skills
- Competent in the use of computer-based packages including MS Office Suite

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
