This progressive Multinational utilises the latest manufacturing processes to provide high quality fabricated products through various sales channels that meet a variety of business needs in buildings. The organisation also has invested substantially in acquisitions to expand their local operations to meet the needs of their growing customer base.
This small divisional role requires a commercially and operationally astute General Manager responsible for the successful leadership and management of the division in accordance with strategic and budgetary targets. Key functions of the role will include sales, production, inventory, tendering, logistics, and financial performance.
Managing the business operational activities your aim will be to ensure quality, customer and employee development initiatives are achieved and maintained. This role will also review and implement changes as necessary in procedures and processes to optimise profitability and introduce improved measurement systems to provide foundation for management decision-making and visibility of performance.
You are a natural leader with the ability and experience to understand and manage the financial drivers of a small to medium sized manufacturing orientated business. To be successful you will also need to be sales person who has successfully delivered on sales/accounts/growth target at least at a branch level in new equipment across in service, construction, capital equipment or service
