We will provide vital services, including patient services, environmental services, food, security, help desk, and more. As a public hospital with clinical services provided by Western Health, this state-of-the-art facility will play a key role in supporting the community—be part of something bigger and help shape the future of healthcare in Victoria._**

**THE POSITION**
- Lead mobilisation of security operations, including procedures, training, and scenario testing for commissioning.
- Oversee security service delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual KPIs, legislation, and hospital standards.
- Build strong relationships with Western Health, Victoria University, emergency services, and key stakeholders.
- Recruit, train, roster, and develop a high-performing, professional security team.
- Provide strategic security oversight, advise on risks, and continuously improve operational procedures.
- Implement and manage security technologies (CCTV, access control, alarms) and maintain accurate reporting systems.
- Act as principal escalation point for service issues, driving a culture of safety, service excellence, and improvement.
- Represent security services at governance and stakeholder meetings, ensuring operational alignment.
- Manage team performance, including coaching, absence management, and compliance with industrial relations standards.
- Maintain strong on-site leadership visibility, championing a proactive, safety-first culture.

**THE PERSON**
- Extensive experience managing large-scale security operations in healthcare, public services, or critical infrastructure.
- Detailed understanding of Prevention and Management of Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA).
- Proven ability to manage compliance with contractual KPIs, regulations, and service standards.
- Strong stakeholder management across clients, government agencies, and emergency services.
- Leadership in recruiting, training, and managing high-performing security teams with IR compliance.
- Expertise in risk assessment, incident response, and strategic security planning.
- Proficient in security technologies (CCTV, access control, alarms) and operational reporting.
- Experienced in reporting, compliance documentation, and continuous service improvement.
- Relevant security licences.
- First aid certificate.
- Driver’s License.
