**Position: Support Worker**

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Preferably a Certificate III in Individual Support or experience in support work, aged care, childcare, or studying some allied health certificate.
- Current Driver's License and comprehensive insurance.
- First aid & CPR certification.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients in daily activities, including getting ready, helping with cleaning, meal preparation, and shower assistance.
- Provide mental health support, companionship, and social support.
- De-escalate situations and maintain effective communication in shift notes.

**Requirements**:

- Kind, passionate individual with patience and an empathetic nature.
- Shifts may involve personal care.
- Experience with hoist, peg, manual handling, hygiene, medication, and seizure management is beneficial (training provided for the right person).
- Positions available in the Moreton Bay Regional Council area.

**Must-Haves**:

- Blue card.
- NDIS worker screening.
- First aid certification.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $88.63 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
