**Job Title**: Support Worker
**Location**: Moreton Bay Region
**Hours**: Flexible, available throughout the week, and have weekend availability.

In this role, you'll provide personalized care and support, creating meaningful experiences and activities centered around the needs, interests, and preferences of our clients. You will play a key role in helping individuals maintain independence and enjoy a fulfilling, active life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Daily Living Support**: Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and other essential tasks.
- **Community Engagement**: Support clients during outings and recreational activities in the community, based on their preferences and needs.
- **Activity Planning**: Develop and deliver exciting, tailored activities that promote engagement and skill development.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain clear, accurate progress notes, incident reports, and other necessary documentation.
- **Domestic Support**: Assist with household tasks, including cleaning and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment.
- **Handling Challenging Situations**: Respond calmly and effectively to complex or challenging behaviors, ensuring the well-being of all individuals involved.

**Essential Skills and Qualities**:

- A professional and compassionate approach, with a strong ability to follow management guidelines.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a supportive team.
- Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of care and documentation.
- Reliable transport, a valid driver’s license, and appropriate car insurance.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting clients in achieving their goals and living their best lives.

Pay: $34.00 - $41.81 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
