**About the role**
Our Berowra Heights OSHC is open to children from St Bernard’s, and we are located on the school grounds. Our OSHC offer before and after school care as well as vacation care. We are looking for a Child Care Educator that can understand the needs of a child and create a fun, warm, caring and safe environment.

This role is the perfect opportunity for someone who is interested in potential future career growth.

**You will bring with you**:

- Understanding and experience with My Time, Our Place Framework
- Taking on the position of the responsible person when required
- Assisting the Coordinator to plan, implement and evaluate programs
- Ensuring a welcoming, safe, hygienic environment, reflective of best practices
- Creating a fun and engaging environment through play experiences
- Developing positive and supportive relationships with children and families
- Ability to form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Experience working with school aged children
- Cert III qualification in Children’s Services or OSH
- Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance
- Completed ‘Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm’
- Completed or willing to complete Safe Food Handling training
- First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one before starting
