**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Develop and maintain individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Offer emotional support and companionship, encouraging social interaction and participation in community activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members, providing clear and accurate information about care plans and any changes in the client’s condition.
- Document care activities and progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in disability support work or a related field, with hands-on experience in personal care.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Empathetic, patient, compassionate, and committed to client-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility.
- Relevant certification or training in disability support or personal care is preferred (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support, First Aid certification).
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)
- CFA Certification (preferred)
- Infection and Prevention Control Certification (preferred)
