**Full Time Role**

**The Opportunity**

This role will see you working as a Team Leader of our CSSD Team who provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where needed. This is a critical part of the surgical process and the ability to work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines is crucial.
- Your duties will include, but not limited to:_
- Assist in the day-to-day coordination of the CSSD activities.
- Ensure compliance with minimum requirements for equipment care, handling and re-processing.
- Uphold competency standards for yourself and other technicians in all sterilisation processes.
- Adhere to sterilisation standards and relevant legislation affecting practice.
- Collaborate with Theatre & CSSD staff to ensure timely equipment processing.

**Skills and Experience**
- Certificate III in Sterilisation
- Enrolled in or completed Certificate IV is desirable
- Minimum of **2 years’ experience in theatre sterilisation team leader**:

- **Thorough understanding of standards and AS5369:2023 requirements**:

- Endoscope Cleaning knowledge.
- Experience in coordinating loan sets
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Proficient understanding of CSSD processes and tasks
- Ability to deliver high-quality service through effective team leadership.

Located in Miranda, The Ramsay Surgical Centre boasts two operating theatres with state-of-the-art medical equipment and two specialised treatment rooms. Our Specialist Services include: Ophthalmology, Endoscopy/ Colonoscopy and Gastroscopy, Urology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Dermatology.
