**About the role**

We are currently seeking a highly motivated **Maintenance Planner** with a strong focus on safety to join our maintenance team at our locally based Kwinana workshop team on a Oermanent basis. Our maintenance workshop is responsible for maintaining our fixed and mobile LPG and LNG assets such as tankers, bulk storage tanks and depots.

As the newest member of our safety focused team, you’ll improve and optimise maintenance efficiencies, productivity and quality of our assets through scoping, planning, scheduling and co-ordinating of maintenance resources, parts and materials.

**In this varied and interesting role, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Ensuring planned maintenance activities are scheduled and organised to comply with operational requirements, maintenance strategies and standing service level agreements.
- Taking ownership and responsibility for continuous improvement and development of plant maintenance systems, practices, and procedures.
- Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer expectations.
- Supporting our maintenance planning team including assisting wherever possible to support cross-discipline maintenance planning efforts and demands.
- Co-ordinate the scheduling of weekly, monthly, yearly preventative maintenance activities with the Maintenance Supervisor and internal customers.
- Identify and resolve resource or material availability shortages to promote effective scheduling.
- Review maintenance planning activities and implement improvements.
- Some travel to sites and after hour calls is a requirement of this role._

**To excel in the role you’ll need the right mix of skills and experience, which for this position means**:

- A strong understanding of work management and maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and commercial awareness.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to easily build rapport and engage stakeholders across all levels.
- High attention to details, analytical skills, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Trade qualifications with proven experience in related fields will be well regarded.
