The largest hospital in Central Queensland with 300+ beds and state of the art facilities. The hospital has undergone recent expansions, providing you with access to superior treatment and case management services.

As the main referral hub for the region, the Emergency Department observes over 48,000 presentations per year, comprised of a wide range of complex multi-specialty cases.

**Position**
**This is an opportunity for an Emergency Medicine PHO/ Registrar.**
Assist in the management of medical patients with acute and urgent illness and injury, under the supervision and guidance of Staff Specialists and other senior medical staff and junior doctor support.

**Location**
**1 hours’ flight to Brisbane**
This large regional city boasts 300 days of sunshine per year, beautiful beaches, and a quality lifestyle. There are a number of popular outdoor attractions including the Riverbank Parklands, the coastal strip and large neighbouring islands. This city has an impressive selection of private and public schools and is bursting with cultural opportunities from galleries to dance studios. Close to National Parks and sprawling landscapes, the area is well known for its scenic spots to dine with a view.

**Requirements**:
Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
Significant experience in an Australian Emergency Department or equivalent international training.
