**About the role**: We have an exciting opportunity available for a Human **Resources and Compliance Manage**r who is passionate about human resources and compliance and has a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Manage, support, guide and mentor two staff
- Oversee and support recruitment from end to end
- Ensuring induction and orientation programs are developed and delivered for all employees
- Establishing and maintaining training and compliance registers and coordinating the logistics of external and internal training
- Provide support and advice for all HR matters to ensure the best interest of the organisation
- Enhance workforce capability, values and culture by developing talent management and other related systems and strategies
- Develop and implement HR strategy that supports key business drivers and enables business improvement initiatives
- Assist and oversee investigation of all HR related matters
- Review and support the development and implement all HR policies and procedures
- Developing and implementing a performance review system
- Manage staff grievance/complaints
- Contract templates preparations, variation templates documents for existing staff, including determining salary classification and level
- Work closely with payroll to ensure staff are paid correctly
- Provide WorkCover advice, administration and coordination, including Return to Work processes
- Oversee all risk, quality and compliance matters
- Lead all audit needs across the organisation
- Manage the risk management framework for the organisation
- Ensure the organisation is compliant against the NDIS Quality Standards
- Manage and maintain all Policies and Procedures for the organisation

About YOU: To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills:

- Passion for recruitment and a history improving recruitment and selection processes
- Strong business writing skills with experience developing and implementing HR documentation including workplace policies and procedures
- Experience working across multiple disciplines of Human Resources
- Well organised and driven self-starter
- High levels of Emotional Intelligence
- Knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise agreements
- Experience in advising managers and staff on employee relations matters and compliance with policies and procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of risk, quality, audit and compliance
- A strong track record of managing people and driving change in an organisation
- A tertiary degree in Human Resources
- Experience within the Care Sector
- A valid Police certificate
- Driver’s license
