**Records Officer, Full time ongoing position based in Melbourne. Applications close on 11:59pm Thursday 28 August 2025.**

**About the role**:
As a Records Officer, you will work closely with the broader Records and Depositions teams to deliver timely and effective service to all staff. You will be a key point of contact for enquiries and contribute to the effective management of the Office's records and recordkeeping systems.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- ; Updating and maintaining critical databases, including Open Text Content Manager and our case management systems.
- ; Sorting and dispatching external mail and managing the Records counter.
- ; Preparing files for archiving and disposal, ensuring compliance with retention policies.
- ; Acting as a first point of contact for telephone enquiries and providing records support to staff.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- ; Experience with both electronic and physical records, or a strong demonstrated knowledge of records management principles.
- ; Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- ; Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and experience with computerised case management systems.
- ; A proven ability to be an effective and collaborative team member.
- ; Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for using your initiative.
