**About the Centre/Service**

Established in 1986, Deep Creek Preschool is an independently run, not-for-profit community preschool located in Doncaster East. Deep Creek Preschool is administered by parent volunteers, who form a Committee of Management. Our stand-alone preschool provides high-quality education and care for children in funded 3- and 4-year-old preschool programs, within a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment. We focus on creating a child led play-based program, reflecting on the planning cycle for each individual child, that is inclusive of each child’s interests, abilities and culture. We actively involve children in their own play-based learning to build understanding and confidence to develop their sense of belonging and well-being. We have a commitment to child safety and inclusivity within the program and we create positive working relationships between our educators and families alongside the Committee of Management to ensure continuous improvement and to maintain a respectful Preschool culture.

**Description**
- We are currently seeking a Diploma or Certificate III qualified educator to join our team commencing Term 1 2026. This role is to specifically support our 3-year-old Kindergarten Group on Mondays and Tuesdays. This is a fixed -term contract for 2026 with the potential to continue the role in 2027. About the Role:

- Work closely with a group of 22 children, alongside the Kindergarten Teacher and Educator.
- Provide lunch break coverage for existing staff and support the delivery of the educational program.
- Collaborate professionally with the teaching team and foster a nurturing and engaging environment for the children.
- Hours: 5 hour every Monday & Tuesday (total 10 hours) from 10:30am-3:30pm (with potential adjustments based on the needs of the children)

Additional Requirements:

- Attend monthly staff meetings (generally held on a Tuesday afternoon after hours)
- Participate in occasional out-of hours events as requested by the employer such as the AGM, Parent evenings or other service events (all additional hours will be paid accordingly.

**Qualifications**

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education
